S-VHS Format

Four Channel Audio Recording System
Two channels of Hi-Fi and two channels of normal, for wide audio applications.

Audio Head Cleaner
|Each time a cassette is loaded or ejected, a cleaning roller automatically passes over the video/FM audio (rotary) heads, removing tape residue and providing preventive care of the tape heads.

SVBK-10 (RS-232C Interface)
With the optional SVBK-10 installed, the SVO-2100 communicates with external equipment such as computers or Sony's FXE-100/120 editing system. When used with a computer, the system can be used to create computer graphics. When used with the FXE series, you have a very cost effective frame-accurate editing system with functions such as Assemble, Insert, Audio Split, A-roll, and A/B-roll editing.

Audio Insert Editing
An external audio signal can be inserted to a selected audio channel on a previously recorded tape.
